John Mclennan

John E. (Canuck) McLennan, 82, of Sheridan, Illinois, passed away Monday, October 20, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Community of Christ Church, 2768 N 3350th Rd Marseilles, IL 61341 with Rev. Rick Goeking officiating. John was born December 11, 1931 to William and Anna Mae (Johnston) McLennan. He married Marilyn Vaira on August 12, 1954. John was a Retired Truck Driver. He was a member of Community of Christ Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn; his four children, Patricia (Bill) Loebach of Streator, Jon (Lee) McLennan of Sheridan, Valerie (Greg) Lovero of Brooksville, FL,and Lisa (Robert) Wollwert of Serena; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (Judy) McLennan, and Joseph (Leda) McLennan; two sisters, Ruth (Karel) Fennick and Mary (Ernie) Peters. He is preceded in death by his parents. Memorials may be directed to Community of Christ - 2768 N 3350th Rd Marseilles, IL 61341 on John's behalf.
