John Luke Mcandrew

John "Luke" McAndrew, 62, of Ottawa, Illinois passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at his home.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2016 at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa, with Father Tony Fevlo officiating. Memorial visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory Thursday, February 4, with the Rosary at 3:45 with 4th Degree Knights of Columbus members in attendance. Burial will be at St. Columba Cemetery.

Luke was born on June 5, 1953 in Ottawa to John "Jack" and Helen (Cull) McAndrew. He was a supporter of Marquette Academy and loved sports, especially golf. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church and the Knights of Columbus, where he tended bar for at least thirty years.

He is survived by his brother, Terry (Margie) McAndrew; his niece and nephew, Caitlin and Matthew McAndrew; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
