John E. Cooper III, 69, of Marseilles, IL passed away Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Ottawa Regional Hospital and Healthcare Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 27, 2010 at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa with the Rev. Philip Halfacre officiating. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m., Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. John was born March 28, 1941 in Chicago, IL to John and Dorothy (Webb) Cooper Jr. He married Pamela Marschall June 10, 1972 at St. Lamberts Church in Skokie, IL. John was a Pipefitter and delivered pizza for Bianchi's for many years. John is survived by his wife, Pamela of Marseilles, IL; one son, John (Sarah) Cooper of Marseilles; one daughter, Anne Cooper of Marseilles; three grandchildren; and one sister. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Heather Lynn in infancy, and his parents. Memorials may be directed to St. Patrick's/Marquette Academy Early Education Building Fund.
