John Baietto

John "Jack" Baietto, 88, of Ottawa passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 at his home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Monday, January 29, 2018 at St. Columba Church with Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 - 3:00 Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Ottawa Funeral Home with prayers at 1:00. He will be buried in St. Columba Cemetery with military honors being presented by Ottawa American Legion Post 33 shooting squad.

John was born February 16, 1929 in Ottawa, Illinois to Joseph Baietto and Margaret (Montgomery) Baietto. He served in the United States Army following the Korean War. He attended Marquette University where he received his Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering and then a Masters Degree in Business Administration. He worked at Lockheed Martin as a Corporate Manager. He was the youngest corporate manager in the companies history. He was a member of St. Columba Church and Triangle Fraternity.

He is survived by his sister, Margaret Mary Baietto.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
