John J. Arreguin

John J. "Johnny" Arreguin, 70, of Ottawa, IL, died, Saturday, August 20, 2011 at his home. Funeral Services for Johnny will be at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Father Ray Guthrie officiating. Visitation will be from 2 - 5 p.m., Wednesday, August 24 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Johnny was born December 13, 1940, in Ottawa, Illinois, to Joseph and Stefana (Padilla) Arreguin. He retired in 2009 from LOF. He was a member of St. Columba Church. He is survived by one daughter; Michele (Richard) Tabor of St. Augustine, Florida, one son; Michael (Shawneen) Arreguin of Rochelle, four grandchildren; Paul Michael (Colleen) Bastian, Kyle Arreguin, Brianna (Adam) Funderburgh, and Troy Arreguin, two great-grandchildren; Hanna and Brody Bastian, three sisters; Stella (Phil) Onasco, Margaret (Freddie) Contreras, Sandra Schultz, and two brothers; Albert "Butch" and Richard Arreguin. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Linda Joyce. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
