Jody L. Pardue

Jody L. (Dawson) Pardue, 42, of Charleston, SC, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at her home.

Memorial services will be held at 11:30 am, Saturday, October 22 at Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory, with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:30, two hours prior to the services, at the funeral home.

Jody was born August 23, 1974 in LaSalle, IL to Charles and Dorene (Henry) Dawson. She married William "Bill" Pardue on December 14, 2013 in Florence, SC. She enjoyed her family and friends, fishing, boating, and NASCAR. Jody loved her boys deeply and knew Jesus Christ as her Savior.

She is survived by her husband, Bill; parents, Chuck and Dorene Allison; two sons, Brandon of FL, and Joshua of SC; stepdaughter, Kimberly (Chip) Crane, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; stepson, Donnie Pardue, of Charleston, SC; stepbrother, Charles (DeeAnna) Allison of New Braunfels, TX; stepsister, Amy Allison of Bettendorf, IA; 3 step grandchildren, Langley, Jack and Cooper, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; aunt, Val (John) Rimstidt of Rochelle, IL; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her stepbrother, Eric Dawson; and maternal grandparents, John and Dee Dettore and the late John C. Henry.
