Jodene M. Retoff

Jodene M. (Saager) Retoff, 67, of Streator passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Arrangements are being made. Jodene was born July 22, 1949 in Ottawa to Wilbur and Neila (Bellrose) Saager. She married John (Jack) Retoff on July 25, 1972 in Streator. She was a member of the American Legion Woman's Auxillary Post 30 in Ottawa, Ottawa Moose Lodge, and the Elks Lodge of Streator. She is survived by her life companion, Ronald Hayes of Streator; a son, Johnny Ray Fontana of Alabama; two step-daughters, Jacqueline Chuders and Kathryn Reed; four sisters, Janet (Stanley) Tucker of Ottawa, Judith (Raymond) Anderson of Triumph, Joan (Richard) Wright of Naplate, Jeanne Saager of Ottawa; two brothers, Garth (Dee) Saager of Arizona, and Ronald (Sharon) Saager of Ottawa; seven grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Richard, in infancy; a granddaughter, Ashley; and one sister, Jovonne (Kenneth) Crutcher of Arizona. Memorials ma be directed to the funeral home or family for burial.
