Joaquina Gutierrez

Joaquina Gutierrez, 81, of Ottawa passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Pleasant View.

Private family services will be held. Ottawa Funeral Home has been entrusted with cremation rites.

Joaquina was born August 16, 1938 in Mexico to Jose and Aurelia (Reyez) Alvarado. She married Cristobal Gutierrez 1950. He passed away suddenly, and after his passing she found love once again. She then married J. Concepion Beltran Vazquez in 2005. Joaquina enjoyed working in the kitchen and in the fields. She was a strong and hard working woman who loved to help others. She had a kind soul and had friends everywhere.

She is survived by her sons, Modesto Gutierrez , Alfonso Alvarado, and Joel Alvarado; her daughters, Joaquina Gutierrez, Linda Gutierrez, Adela Valtierra, Lorena Navarro, Maria Cruz Rivera, and Patricia Beltran; 35 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, five brothers, and three sisters.
