JoAnne M. White, 67, of Ottawa, IL, died, Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Ottawa Regional Hospital and Healthcare Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM Monday, February 7, 2011 at St. Patrick's Church, with the Rev. Jules Adator officiating. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 - 6 pm, Sunday, February 6 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Prayers will be at 3:00. The Moose service will be at 4:00 PM. on Sunday JoAnne was born November 5, 1943, in Ottawa, Illinois to Robert and Ann (Dougherty) Armstrong. She married Eugene White on July 3, 1980 at St. Patrick Church in Ottawa. She was the Director of the Detention Home for over 40 years. She was a member of St. Patrick Church, Women of the Moose, Catholic Daughters of Americas, Zonta, Red Hat Ladies, and the Garden Club. She is survived by her husband, two daughters Julie Love and Jeannette White both of Ottawa; two sons Matthew (Sara) White of Aurora and Nicholas White of Ottawa, three grandchildren Faith Love, Aiden Love and Gabriel Pylest, three brothers Robert (Judy) Armstrong, Peter (Carodene) Armstrong both of Ottawa and John (Janet) Armstrong of Marseilles . She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Bernard Armstrong. Pallbearers will be nephews William, Chris, Tim, Rob, Harry,Brian and Patrick Armstrong.
