Joanne Rosencrans

Joanne Berta Rosencrans, 81, of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away Monday, August 12, 2013, at LaSalle County Nursing Home. Funeral Service for Joanne will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 16, 2013, at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2013, at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Joanne was born June 21, 1932, in Ottawa, Illinois, to Raymond and Evelyn (Hertzner) Berta. She was a member of Catholic Daughters of Americas, was a Cub Scout Leader, and worked for the family at Berta's. She is survived by four daughters, Renae Hockaday of Michigan, Beth (Joe) Ugolini of Seneca, Mary Rosencrans of Ottawa, and Kara Clanton of North Carolina; three sons, William Rosencrans of Florida, Bob (Denise) Rosencrans of Ottawa, and Rodney Rosencrans of Ottawa; fourteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and one brother, Jim (Maryann) Berta of California. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Laurie Rosencrans and Kim Brock; her parents; and a brother, Raymond. Pallbearers will be her loving family members. Memorials may be directed to the donors' choice.
