Jo Anne Ernat

Jo Anne Ernat, 73, of Ottawa, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Per Joanne's wishes, no funeral ceremony will be held. Cremation rites have been accorded to Ottawa Funeral Home.

Joanne was born September 10, 1948, in Ottawa, IL, to Robert and Iliene (Ide) Lewis. She married Joseph Ernat on August 18, 1989 at Deer Park Church.

Joanne worked for many years as the cook at Ottawa Pavilion before she retired.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Joseph Ernat; her daughter, Shelly Sanches of Ottawa; her son, Jason (Tracy) Grieves of Ottawa; and her two grandchildren, Austin Wheeler and Ryan Grieves. She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Gary Butterfield.
