Jerry R. Allen

Jerry Allen, 74, of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Loyola University Hospital, Maywood. Jerry was born August 19, 1939 in Pittsburg, California to Jewell and Joy (Addington) Allen. He married Patricia LeBeau on May 7, 1960 in LaSalle. Cremation rites have been entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory. Jerry moved to Ottawa to work on the ASHO Test Road for Route 80 and is a retired Truck Driver. He served in the US Army from 1957 to 1960. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; two sons, Kent (Lorrie) of NY and Douglas of Ottawa; three grandchildren, Jessica, Tony and Kattee; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Ray Allen of Antioch, CA He is preceded in death by his parent's; two sisters; and one brother.
