Jeff Grundon

Jeffrey L. "Jeff" Grundon, 50, of Ottawa, passed away Monday, April 21, 2008 at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 A.M. Friday, April 25, 2008 at St. Patrick's Church with Rev. Philip Halfacre officiating. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 P.M. Thursday April 24, 2008 at the Ottawa Funeral Home with prayers at 4 P.M. He was born to William and Betty (Weber) Starjak on September 2, 1957. He is survived by his mother and step-father; Betty (Mike) Starjak of Ottawa, one son; Shawn (Andrea) Grundon of Joliet, one daughter; Mallory of Ottawa, 2 granddaughters; Alexa and Ellie Grundon, one brother; Bill (Mikki) of Peoria, one step-sister; Cathy (Randy) Heign of Indiana and his special friend; Helen Keele of Ottawa. He was preceded in death by a sister; Maribeth Radtke, his grandparents and a step-brother; Stanley Starjak. He was a janitor at Marquette High School. He was a member of Earlville Gold Club and the Busch Pool League. Pallbearers will be Ed Abernathy, Dennis Murry, Chad Murry, Paul Wenglewski, Caleb Johnson and Chad Jessen.
