Jean Gettler

Jean Gettler, 83, of Seneca, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Rivershores Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Marseilles. Cremation rites were accorded. Burial will be at a later date. Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home in Seneca assisted with the arrangements. Jean was born January 1, 1930, in Ottawa, Illinois, to Emile and Mary (Michaels) LeBeau. She married Lawrence Gettler on December 29, 1956 at St. Mary's Church in Naplate. He preceded her in death on October 2, 2006. She is survived by four sisters, Sharon Swango of Marseilles, Patricia (Jerry) Allen of Naplate, Eleanor Eichelkraut of Naplate, and Connie Boaz of Kentucky; and six brothers, James LeBeau of Streator, Richard LeBeau of Minnesota, Sam (Pat) LeBeau of Mexico, Jack LeBeau of Aurora, Donald (Mavis) LeBeau of Harding, and Belmyre LeBeau of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence; two brothers, Michael and Ron LeBeau; and one sister, Darlene Rosencranz.
