Janice Kiesig

Janice J. Kiesig, 77, of Hudson, Florida, passed away on July 27 at HPH Hospice in Hudson, Florida. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 23 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church in Ottawa with burial to follow at Ottawa Avenue Cemetery. Janice was born on February 1, 1937 to Howard and Helen (Jehly) Kammerer in Ottawa. She graduated from St. Patrick School and Ottawa High School. She worked for the Illinois Department of Employment Security for many years in Ottawa prior to moving to Florida. She is survived by her children Debora (Paul) Parisot of Freedom Township, Cheri Rutledge of McHenry, Peter (Mary) Kiesig of New Port Richey, Florida, and Tony (Bobbi) Kiesig of New Port Richey, Florida; three grandchildren, Ted Parisot of Ottawa, Dr. Brittany (Steven) Sebby of Crystal Lake, and Dennis Kiesig of Ottawa; and two great-grandchildren, Maddy and Parker. Janice was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Joy Anne Kammerer, and son-in-law Scott Rutledge.
