Jane Jobst

Jane M. Jobst, 69, of Ottawa passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Pleasant View.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am, Thursday, October 26 at St. Francis of Assisi Church with Rev. Corey Krengiel officiating. Visitation will be from 4- 7 pm, Wednesday, October 25 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ottawa Avenue Cemetery.

Jane was born January 29, 1948 in Ottawa to Ralph and Margaret (Melland) Jobst. She owned and retired from Jane's Tap. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Jane was a kind and loving woman, and she loved taking care of people. Her grandkids were her world; they were the jewels in her crown.

She is survived by two children, Jayna D. Meglan of Ottawa; and Joe (Tara) Meglan of Rincon, GA; five grandchildren, Jonathan Headrick, and Drew, Gracie, Brady, and Gavin Meglan; four siblings, Mike (Joan) Jobst, Tim (Jane) Jobst, Tom (Ellen) Jobst, and Mary (Tom) Clair.

She was preceded in death by her parents and wonderful great-aunt, Sophie Jobst.
