James Reinmann

James Reinmann, 86, of Ottawa, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 21, from 9:00 until 10:00am, at Ottawa Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am, at St. Patrick's Church, with Fr. Nicholas Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in St. Columba Cemetery.

James was born August 22, 1936, in Streator, IL, to George and Ann (Nagle) Reinmann. He married Sandra Geiger on September 17, 1966 at St. Columba Church.

He loved to fish and went on many trips to Northern Wisconsin with his family. He enjoyed watching and coaching his children in baseball and was an excellent bowler, winning many awards. He also enjoyed many trips to the river boats. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Patrick Church.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Reinmann; his children, Richard Reinmann, Randy (Carol Lucas) Reinmann, and Christina "Christy" Miller; his grandchildren, Bryce Reinmann, Riley Lucas, Luke Reinmann, Micah Miller, and Marissa Reinmann; and his brother-in-law, Jim Brandow. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Marlene Brandow.
