James A. Donohue

James A. Donohue, 97, of Ottawa passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at LaSalle County Nursing Home.

Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation rites.

Jim was born June 14, 1924 in Ottawa to James W. and Mary Christine (Haugh) Donohue. He was a life-long farmer who loved the work and his land. Later in his life he became advocate for environment friendly farming. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church and the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Matthew and Edmund Donohue; and his sister Mary Agnes Miller.
