Jacqueline "Jackie" (Seaborn) Allen

Jacqueline S. "Jackie" Allen, 84, of Ottawa passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Ottawa Pavilion.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm, Thursday, May 27 at Ottawa Avenue Cemetery. Ottawa Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Jackie was born September 11, 1936, in Columbia, Kentucky to John and Doris (Morgan) Seaborn. She grew up in Campbellsville, KY and then moved to Marseilles, IL at a young age, where she attended grade school and high school. She married Odis Allen on March 9, 1953 in Newton, Iowa; they were married for 60 years before his passing on December 4, 2013. Together, they made their home on a farm near Dayton for several years before moving to the West side of Ottawa. Jackie was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by three sons, Jon (late Sue) Allen of Marseilles, Charles (Karen) Allen of Sheridan, and Curtis (Deborah) Allen of Ottawa; four grandsons, Justin, Nicholas (Davi), Samuel (Amy), and Mitchell (Selena); and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Larry Allen in 2016; and her only sister, Diane (Ray) Poss in 2018.
