Jack Reiner

Jack Reiner, 84, of Ottawa, IL, died, Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Ottawa Regional Hospital and Healthcare Center. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at Ottawa Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Walker officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park with Military Services. Visitation will be from 11 am - 1 pm, Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Jack Reiner was born Wednesday, September 10, 1924, in Ottawa, IL., to the late Joseph and Barbara (Tabor) Reiner. He married Lois Heth on Oct.9, 1948 at First Presbyterian Church in Ottawa, IL. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He retired from Libby Owens Ford. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Ottawa VFW. He is survived by his wife Lois, two grandsons Samuel Reiner of Aurora, Kevin Reiner of Montgomery, one great-granddaughter Ariel Winter Reiner and one sister Margaret Ferguson of Ottawa. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Jack Lee Reiner in 1999 three sisters Rose Reiner, Barbara Aubry, Katherine Decker, two brothers Casper and Joseph Reiner.
