Jack W. Inman, 73, of Seneca, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Loyola University Medical Center.
Cremation rites have been entrusted to Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home.
Jack was born October 11, 1950, in Bedford, IN, to Ora Wayne and Alma (Morrow) Inman. He married Joyce Logsdon on June 5, 1970 at the Oolitic Baptist Church in Oolitic, IN. Together they spent the next 53 years enjoying life with their family.
Jack liked Nascar, basketball, and westerns, including Gunsmoke and Rifleman. He was also a lover of dogs and had many as pets. He adored his dogs Milo and Cooper. He enjoyed taking rides on his golf cart especially to spend time down by the river. More than anything he loved his family. He adored his wife and never missed a sporting event or extra curricular activity for his children or grandchildren. Jack was a man of few words, but when he spoke, you listened. He was always willing to give his honest advice or lend a helping hand.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Joyce; his children, Melissa (Eric) Lewis and Marla (Jason) Eltrevoog; his grandchildren, Kacy Inman, Emily ( Daniel) Imes, Eli and Addison Eltrevoog, and Ethan Lewis; his siblings, Robert and Fred Cummings; and his sister in law and brother in law, Julie and Dave Tow, his brother in law and sister in law Sam and Sharon Logsdon; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Dallas and Butch Cummings.
There will be a celebration of life on Thanksgiving Day with his immediate family.
