Inez Churchill

Inez Churchill, 87, of Ottawa, IL, died, Sunday, March 21, 2010 at LaSalle County Nursing Home. Services will be at 7:00 PM with the visitation 4:00 - 7:00 PM, Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the visitation. Inez Churchill was born February 27, 1923, in Acton, KY, to Charles and Lillie Mae (Sharp) Wright. She married Francis W. Churchill on June 20, 1942 in Marseilles, IL. She was a member of the Moose and Dayton Ridge Golf Club. She was an Avid golfer, loved to dance, and bowl. She is survived by three sons, Douglas (Evelyn) Churchill of Ottawa, Gregory Churchill of Marseilles and Thomas (Barb) Churchill of Roscoe, IL; one daughter, Lyn-Marie Weatherly of Salisbury, Maryland; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Paul Babcock; four brothers Guy, Yewell, Howard and Hugh Wright and two sisters Nancy Edna Sapp and Aileen Preston. Memorials may be directed to LaSalle County Nursing Home.
