Iliene Lewis

Iliene M. Lewis, 85, of Terre Haute, Indiana, formerly of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. Funeral Service for Iliene will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2012 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. prior to service on Monday at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be at St. Columba Cemetery. Iliene was born April 28, 1926 in Sublette, Illinois to Knute and Clara Eide. After her parent passed away she was raised by her wonderful aunt, Hannah Serby. She married Robert "Pork" Lewis on February 20, 1945 at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa. He died August 30, 2003. She worked at Luminous Dial, Libby Owens Ford, and Kankakee Ordinance. She is survived by two daughters, Dianna (Don) Reynolds of Terre Haute, Indiana and Joanne (Joseph) Ernat of Ottawa; four grandchildren, William M. Cupples, Christopher E. Cupples, Shelly Sanchez, and Jason Grieves; five great grandchildren, Matthew Cupples, Jennifer (Joseph) Peck, Garrett Cupples, Austin Wheeler, and Ryan Grieves; and two great-great grandchildren, Emily and Chloe Peck. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
