Henry G. "Butch" Larsen, 70, of Marseilles died Monday, September 19, 2011 at Provena Hospital in Joliet. Funeral Service for Butch will be 1:00 PM Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home in Seneca with Brother Hutton officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Seneca. Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home. Butch was born August 25, 1941 in Sycamore, Illinois to Henry and Alma (Beck) Larsen. He married Nadine Lyles October 21, 1967 in Sycamore. She died October 1, 2002. He was a retired heavy equipment operator. He is survived by one son Scott Larsen of Ottawa; three daughters, Tina Larsen-Whited, Rhonda (James) Larsen-Read, and Terry (Danny) Larsen-Ricks all of Alabama; sixteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one sister, Ana Mae (John) Olson of Maple Park; and loving friend, Diane Hanlon of Marseilles. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, one son, Samual and one grandson, Benjamin. He was a member of Local 150. Memorials may be directed to the family. Pallbearers will be Daniel Pender, Colton Poppell, Lucas Edwards, Scott Larsen, Caleb Dixon, and Danny Ricks.
