Henry Walsh Jr.

Henry "Hank" Walsh Jr., 70, of Ottawa passed away Monday March 17, 2008 at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 10 A.M. at St. Columba Church with Rev. Ronald Dodd officiating. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, March 24, 2008 from 3 to 8 P.M. at the Ottawa Funeral Home with prayers at 3 P.M. with the Knights of Columbus in attendance. He was born on March 10, 1938 at Ottawa to Henry and Frances (Martin) Walsh Sr. He married Judy Bruck on November 19, 1960 at St. Columba Church. He is survived by his wife: Judy of Ottawa, two sons; Henry "Hank" III and Craig (Beth) Walsh both of Ottawa, five grandchildren; Monica (Andy) McGill, Daniel, Joseph, Kelsey and Kale Henry, one sister; Mary (Ron) Hazard of Ottawa, one brother; Bill Walsh of Ottawa. He is also survived by the following members of his close knit family: Mother-In-Law; Gladys Bruck, several brothers and sisters in-law; many nieces and nephews and his Marquette family. He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law; Vernon Bruck. He Retired from LOF after 30 years and he also worked at Marquette High School for 40 years in maintenance. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Marquette H.S. Athletic Hall of Fame and was a founding member of Marquette's GO Club. He received the Red Wultzen Booster of the year award and the Excellence in Educational Staff Support Award. Pallbearers will be his sons and grandchildren.
