Helen I. Pickett

Helen I. Pickett, 79, of Ottawa died Monday, November 8, 2010 at her home. Memorial service will be 1:00PM Friday, November 12, 2010 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. Nancy Rethford officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park. Helen was born July 1, 1931 in Ottawa, Illinois to Howard and Gertrude (Stone) Hayes. She married Glenn Pickett he died December 25, 1976. For many years she cleaned for many residents and doctors' offices. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Ottawa. She is survived by her son, Robert Pickett; and one daughter, Emily Pickett both of Ottawa. She is preceded in death by her husband; four brothers, John, Frank, Charles, and Robert. Memorials may be directed to the family.
