Hazel F. Sedar

Hazel F. Sedar, 94, of Ottawa passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Ottawa Funeral Home, with Rev. Corey Krengiel officiating. Visitation will be from 10 - noon, prior to the services, at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery.

Hazel was born April 26, 1922 in Marseilles to Lawrance and Mary (Reed) Anderson. She married John Sedar in 1946 and together they were forever friends for 46 years; he passed away in 1992.

Lawrance and Mary went before her, along with her brothers and sisters, Marie Anderson Dennis, Emma Anderson, Richard Anderson, Harold Anderson, James Anderson, Ralph Anderson, Lawrance Anderson Jr., and Benjamin Anderson.

She is survived by her sisters, Elsie June (Neurohr) Anderson and Phyllis Anderson; her son, Michael; nieces and nephews and friends.

She is forever with Jesus, with her forever friend John, her family and friends - young again, healed, whole. Amen.
