Harvey W. Letherman, Jr.

Harvey W. Letherman, Jr., 60, of Earlville passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at his home.

Funeral Services will be at 11 am, Monday, October 1 at Ottawa Funeral Home, with Rev. Paul Bladen officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 10 to 11 am, prior to the services, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Precinct Cemetery in Earlville with military honors.

Harvey was born February 6, 1958, in Aurora to Harvey and Norma Letherman, Sr. He married Kathryn Turton July 19, 1980 at Bliss Woods Forest Preserve in Sugar Grove; she preceded him in death on November 15, 1996. He then married Holly Harbeck on June 21, 2003 at St. Mary's Church in Utica.

Harvey attended East Aurora High School. He was a proud member of the United States Marines, serving from 1975 to 1981. Harvey was a self-employed business owner, starting "Your Way Repairs" over twenty years ago. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time in the great outdoors. Harvey was a strong family man and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Holly; three children, Chris Milligan of Mendota, Harvey Letherman III of Davenport, and Josh (Nancy) Letherman of Plano; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, James, Jerry, Ruth, Jo, Barbara, and Candy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Harvey was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Kathryn; and siblings, Debra, Cindy, and Robert.
