OTTAWA -- Harry L. Johnson, 79, of Ottawa, died Friday, Nov. 2, at Ottawa Pavilion. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd at Oakwood Memorial Park with the Rev. Doug Williams of Evangelical United Methodist Church officiating. Cremation rites were accorded. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park with military services. Arrangements were entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home. Mr. Johnson was born July 29, 1928, in Ottawa, to Harry and Marie (Hansen) Johnson. He was a retired watch supervisor at NIU. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He is survived by a sister, Delores Angell of Ottawa. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Calvin and one in infancy; and six sisters, Beverly Cunico, Eleanor Bayuk, Bernice Miner, Buelah Eisert, Alice Casey and one in infancy.
