Harold Aubry, 83, of Utica, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013, at St. Mary's Church in Utica with Msgr. James Swaner officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 15, 2013, at Ottawa Funeral Home with prayers at 4:00 with the Knights of Columbus and the 4th Degree Honor Guard in attendance. He will be buried at St. Columba Cemetery. Harold was born May 22, 1930, in LaSalle, Illinois, to Vincent and Florence (O'Connor) Aubry. He married Margaret Walsh on June 26, 1954, in Ottawa. He farmed and lived his entire life on the family farm, as well as being employed at IL Nitrogen. Harold was a member of the Knights of Columbus Fr. Marquette #1775 as a 4th Degree Knight and also a member of St. Mary's Church in Utica. He was also a Trustee and Eucharistic Minister for St. Mary's Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; daughters, Kathleen Farrell, Mary Holland, and Joan (Dale) Graham; sons, David (Sheryl) Aubry, Stephen (Carol) Aubry, Daniel (Darci) Aubry, and Paul (Chris) Aubry; nineteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Mary Irene Walsh, Joanne (Jack) Stortz, and Catherine (Donald) Harmon; and brother-in-law, Thomas F. Walsh. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; four sisters; and two son-in-laws, Timothy Farrell and Douglas Holland. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Brian Farrell, Nathan Holland, Michael Holland, Brandon Aubry, Jon Aubry, and Jacob Aubry. Memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Church in Utica.
