Grant Adam Youngstrum

Grant Adam Youngstrum, 44, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at his home.

Grant was born on November 18, 1980 in St. Louis, Missouri to Terry and Paul Youngstrum. He grew up in Ottawa and graduated from Ottawa High School in 1999. He graduated from Joliet Community College - he was a truck driver for several companies, and had been a caregiver for his grandmother.

Grant is survived by his parents, brothers Gavin, Griffin and his wife Laura and their son Clifton, many cousins, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Helen and Bill Brock Jr., Norma and Philip Youngstrum, and uncle Bill Brock III.

Visitation will be at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ottawa from 9:00 to 11:00 on Saturday, December 28. A funeral service will follow at 11:00. Cremation rites have been entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church.
