Grace Rasmussen

Grace D. Rasmussen, 79, of Seneca, passed away Thursday, Dec. 30, at her home surrounded by her family. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home in Seneca. Visitation will be two hours prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home. Grace was born December 8, 1931, in Marseilles, to Chuck and Vi (Chapman) Partridge. She married Arnold Rasmussen April 22, 1949, by the Rev. Roy Wilson. She delivered a rural paper route for The Times newspaper from 1987 until 2008. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Grace is survived by her husband, Arnold; two daughters, Dar (Tim) Walker of Seneca and Norma (Rockie) Mann of Marseilles; three sons, Ed (Gayle) of Seneca, Larry of Morris, and Jeff of Marseilles; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; five brothers, Sonny (Ruth) Partridge of New Orleans, Dan (Shirley) Partridge of Marseilles, Pat "Fugi" (Joan) Partridge of Seneca, Bob (Sharon) Partridge of Dayton and Richard (Diane) of Seneca; one sister, Charlotte Marshall of Seneca; two sisters-in-law, Pat Partridge of Seneca and Norma Price of Chicago; and one brother-in-law, Curt (Margaret) Rasmussen of Marseilles. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Karrie Ann Cameron and Buffie Rasmussen; and one brother, Don Partridge. Memorials may be directed to the family.
