Gloria Varland-Robinson

Gloria Anne Varland-Robinson, 84, of Marseilles passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at OSF St. Elizabeth Hospital in Ottawa lovingly surrounded by family. Her visitation will be 9am -10am Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Oakwood Memorial Park immediately followed by her funeral service at 10am at Oakwood Memorial Park. Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home has been entrusted with her arrangements. Gloria was born September 12, 1930 in Marseilles, IL to Dominic and Josephine Viviani. She was married to Lowell Varland and enjoyed many years raising her children and being a farmer's wife. As a widow, she married Walter Robinson November 9, 1990. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Seneca. She is survived by her children, Nancy (Charles) Swanson of Magnolia, TX, Judy (Mark) Limsky of Forney, TX, Henry (Cindy) Varland of Princeton, and Jerry (Donna) Varland of Mt. Sinai, NY; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four step-children, Kim Keesee, Don Robinson, Brent Robinson, and Michael Robinson; and many step-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Lowell Varland and Walter Robinson; and her infant son, Wayne Allen Varland.
