Gertrude Ardell Moreland, 92, of Streator died Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Heritage Manor in Streator. A burial will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 25, 2011, at Evergreen Cemetery in El Paso, IL. A gathering will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 25, 2011, at Ottawa Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2011, with Rev. Sherry Stevenson officiating. Gertrude was born November 18, 1918 in El Paso, Illinois to William and Elzina (Stowell) Parkhouse. She retired from Owens of Illinois in Streator. She is survived by a daughter, Denise (Gary) Elliott of Streator; two sons, Warren Richard "Dick" Moreland of Streator, William (JoAnn) Moreland of Ottawa; a daughter-in-law Sandy Moreland of St. Charles; 10 Grandchildren, Cary and Dawn Renn, Scott Renn, Lisa Renn, Ben Moreland, Josie and Scott Pickett, Jake and Jen Moreland, Christie and Erik Buehl, Katy and Andy Clark, Jordan Moreland and Nicholas Moreland; 3 Great Grandchildren, Cara Renn, Cheri Renn and Graysen Moreland; a sister, Helen Roberts of El Paso; and a brother, William Parkhouse. She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, James Moreland; 3 sisters, Beatrice, Lorraine and Mable; 2 brothers, Earl and James; and 1 granddaughter, Mary Jane Renn. Memorials may be donated to the family.
