George Boswell

George Boswell Sr., 88 of Ottawa passed away Friday evening October 17, 2008 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday October 21, 2008 at 6:30 P.M. with Chaplain Kerwin Sletto officiating at the Ottawa Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday October 21, 2008 from 3:30 until time of services at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park at a later date. He was born on March 1, 1920 at Hundred West Virginia in the County of Wetzel to George and Goldie (Boswell) Boswell. He married Anna Hill on August 13, 1941 at Valparaiso IN. She passed away March 30, 2000. He was a retired roofer. He worked at the Seneca Shipyards during WWII. He loved to Kareoke and Dance. He is survived by a daughter: Margaret (Dyle) Stokes of Ottawa, one son: George Boswell Jr, of Ottawa, three grandchildren: Brandy Adamson, Dyle (Kristen) Jr. and Douglas Stokes, four great-grandchildren: Cody, Trent, Sydney and Logan Stokes. He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; brothers, Arlie, Morris and Benny Boswell and a grandson, Jeffrey Stokes.
