Geoffrey Penick

Geoffrey Penick, 51, of LaSalle, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at his home. Funeral Service for Geoffrey will be at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2013, at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday at Ottawa Funeral Home. Geoffrey was born February 2, 1962, in Ottawa, Illinois, to James Penick and Judith Sprague. He married Tammy Brooker on December 22, 2003. He was a member of the Boilermakers Union. He is survived by his wife, Tammy of LaSalle; his mother, Judith; his step-mother, Connie Penick; his step-father, Larry Halm; his children, Amber Kennard, Andrew Kennard, and Clinton Munson; two brothers, Shane Halm of Ottawa, and Joshua Penick of Florida; three sisters, Deb Penick (Chris) Snyder of Yorkville, Courtney Halm-McCague of Ottawa, and Chandra (Luis) Aguila of Florida; and his fury best friend, Tabitha. He was preceded in death by his father, James Penick; and his grandma, Patricia Bey. Memorials may be directed to the family.
