Gail Stegmann

Gail E. Stegmann, 63, of Seneca, passed away Friday, June 12, 2026 at her home.

A celebration of her life will take place at a later date. Cremation rites have been entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home. Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Gail was born April 9, 1963 in Odessa, TX to Donald and Irene Murray. She worked as an obstetrics nurse for 38 years until her retirement in 2024. She had a special bond with each of her patients throughout her years at Community Hospital of Ottawa. In her free time, she enjoyed doing puzzles and reading, watching old movies, especially her favorite movie, The Wizard of Oz, watching the Cubs, and listening to music, especially Patsy Cline, Judy Garland and Abba. More than anything though, she loved and cared for her family and her beloved cats, Piper and Tabitha.

She is survived by her son,Stevenn Stegmann; her lifelong friend, Randy Stegmann; her brother, Jim (Maggie) Murray; and her nieces and nephews, Tonya, PJ, and Bri.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Irene; her daughter, Andrea Stegmann; and her siblings, Mike and Kris Murray.
