Gail J. Castrejon

Gail J. Castrejon, 81, of Ottawa, formerly of Prescott Valley, AZ passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 at her daughter's home in rural Ottawa. Memorial Mass will be held at 2 pm, Friday, May 5 at St. Columba Church, with Rev. Corey Krengiel officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:30-1:30 prior to services, Friday at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in the National Veterans Cemetery in Prescott, AZ at a later date. Gail was born November 16, 1935 in Chicago, IL to Alexander and Stephanie Sawicki. She married Joaquin A. Castrejon. Jr. on Jan. 11, 1958; he passed on March 10, 2016. Gail lived in the Ottawa area for 30 years as a homemaker and worked as a Circuit Clerk before retiring to Arizona with her husband of 58 years. Gail was a wonderful cook and her children & grand children loved learning from her. She was a member of St. Columba and St. Germaine Churches. Loved dearly by her family and friends. She is survived by four children, Gabrielle Castrejon, Keith (Desi) Castrejon, Craig (Jamie) Castrejon, and Jacqueline (Edward) Timm; twelve grandchildren, Amber, Jordan, Aleah, Jennifer, Haley, Michelle, Lauren, Brandon, Rebecca, Ellie, Cameron, Teigan, and four great-grandchildren, Kenton, Kyrie, Kyelyn, and Alice. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brother Daniel, and granddaughter Jasmine. Pallbearers will be Great/Grand Children: Amber, Jordan, Haley, Cameron, Teigan, and Kenton. Memorials may be directed to the family.
