Frank Ritchie

Frank A. Ritchie, 84, of Ottawa, Illinois passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 at his home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at St. Columba Church with Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 - 7:00 Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery with military honors presented by the Ottawa American Legion honor guards.

Frank was born October 23, 1933 in Rock Falls Illinois, to Frank Sr. and Nicolina

(Capezzi) Ritchie. He married Frances McCombs at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Rock Falls on February 14, 1956; she passed away December 21, 2012.

Frank served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Columba Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family, being outside, going to the Hi-Way for breakfast, and lottery scratch tickets.

He is survived by three sons, Gregg (Lisa) Ritchie, Gary (Kathy) Ritchie, and Scott Ritchie; four daughters, Teresa Grieves, Corinna Ritchie, Denise Ritchie and Nicole Ritchie; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren, one brother, Larry Ritchie; and one sister, Leora Grivens.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Fran; one son, Jeffrey; and his sister, Delores Bressler.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jason Grieves, Patrick Grieves, David Ritchie, Nicholas Ritchie, Andrew Ritchie, and Ryan Williams.
