Frances Martin

Frances Martin, 96, of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Ottawa Pavilion. Funeral Service for Frances will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. Jules Adator officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be at Ottawa Avenue Cemetery. Frances was born December 25, 1915 in Ottawa, Illinois to Edward and Mary Ann (Morrill) Johnson. She married Daniel Evensen. She then married Clyde Martin, who died July 1, 1971. She is survived by one daughter, Diana (Leo) Sauvageau of Naplate; five grandchildren, Mark (Vicki) Sauvageau of Minonk, Matthew (Cheryl) Sauvageau of St. Charles, Shawn (Michelle) Sauvageau of Naplate, Debbie (Joe) Stopa of Normal, and David Sauvageau of Naplate; eight great-grandchildren, Haleigh, Lindsay, and Margaret Stopa, Jessica and Danielle Sauvageau, and Jordan, Brandon, and Leanna Sauvageau. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; one grandson, Michael Sauvageau; one sister, Eliza Connor; and three brothers, Arthur, Robert, and Raymond Johnson. Pallbearers will be Mark, David, Matthew, Shawn, and Jordan Sauvageau, and Joe Stopa. Memorials may be directed to the family.
