Forrest Fessler

Forrest D. Fessler, 92, of Seneca passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014 at VA Illiana Health Care Systems in Danville, Illinois. A celebration of Forrest's life will be at 5:00 pm Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at his son David's house. Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home has been entrusted with his cremation rites. Forrest was born April 8, 1922 in Triumph, Illinois to Irvin and Alice (Gillette) Fessler. He served in the United States Army. He married Goldie McKeel; she passed away in 1990. He is survived by seventeen children, Jo Anne Hanlon, Adella McGeorge, David Fessler Sr, Dale Fessler, Carolyn Trodgon, Susan Perkins, Paul Fessler, Randy Fessler, Roslyn Thompson, Isabelle Nicholson, Karen Farrell, Connie McRae, Daniel Fessler Sr, Keith Fessler, Sr, Christine Garrett, Duane Fessler, and Jeffrey Fessler; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his four siblings, Laurence, Theodore, and Clarence Fessler, and Pearl Billings; and one grandson, Kett Donovan Fessler.
