Floyd Wood

Floyd Wood, 85, of Seneca, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Park Pointe Healthcare & Rehab Center.

Funeral Service will be on Friday, January 13, at 11:00 am, at Osborne- Nelson Funeral Home, with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 until 11:00am prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will follow.

Floyd was born October 26, 1937, in Gibbstown, NJ, to Wilbert and Clara Mae (Dixon) Wood. He married Margaret Redfield on April 23,1960 in Gibbstown, NJ.

Floyd served in the US Navy in the Korean War. After his service, he worked for Dupont until his retirement. In his free time he loved woodworking, fishing, gardening, and watching football. He was a member of the American Legion. He loved all of his pets and fur babies.

He is survived by his daughter, Donna Schueler; his granddaughter, Brittany (Tom) Rynkewicz; his sister Doris Morlachetta; and his fur babies, Sombra, Iris, Boo Boo, Angel, and Diamond.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Bob Wood; and his sisters, Ruthie and Betty Mae.
