Florence Skaronea

Florence Skaronea, 92, of Ottawa passed away Friday, October 24, 2014 at LaSalle County Nursing Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Thursday, October 30, 2014 at St. Mary's Church in Naplate with Father Tony Fevlo officiating. Visitation will be10:00 to 11:00 am Thursday, October 30, 2014 at St. Mary's Church in Naplate. She will be buried in St. Columba Cemetery at a later date. Ottawa Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with her arrangements. Florence was born June 7, 1922 in Marseilles, Illinois to Dale and Flora (Daniels) Roe. She married Albert Skaronea March 14, 1942 at St. Joseph Church in Marseilles. She was a member of St. Mary's Church. She will be sadly missed. She is survived by her son, Al (Nancy) Skaronea of Holiday Hills; three grandchildren, Brad, Todd, and Kevin Skaronea; and one brother, Dale (Rita) Roe of Naplate. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert; one son, James Skaronea; and three sisters. Memorials may be directed to Pet Project or Friendship Village.
