Florence Gahan

Florence "Flo" Gahan, 76, of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at OSF St. Elizabeth Hospital. Mass will be held at 1:00 pm July 25, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi with Rev. Tony Fevlo officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 to 12:30 on Friday at the Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Florence was born February 18, 1938 in Ottawa, Illinois to William and Helen (Hampton) Magre. She married Joseph Gahan on August 20, 1963 in Ottawa he died May 9, 1976. Florence was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She was the Ottawa Twp. Supervisor, retiring in 2003. She is survived by her daughter, Kerri (Jordan) Eckerling of Highland Park, two grandsons Andrew and Nathan Eckerling. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joseph Gahan.
