OTTAWA -- Florence K. Fitzgerald, 85, of Ottawa, died Monday, Aug. 27, at Pleasant View Luther Home. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Church with the Rev. Philip Halfacre officiating. Burial will be in Ottawa Avenue Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Ottawa Funeral Home with prayers at 6 p.m. Mrs. Fitzgerald was born July 14, 1922, in Sublette, to Joseph and Anna (Yohn) Rave. She married Harold J. Fitzgerald on June 3, 1944, at Holy Cross Church in Mendota. He died Nov. 22, 2002. She was a circuit clerk in the Agricultural Stabilization Conservation Service office and a member of St. Patrick's Church and Catholic Daughters of America. She is survived by four daughters, Carol Anderson, Jean Kennedy, Sharon (Mark) Halm and Diane (Frank) Markey, all of Ottawa; a son, James (Rita) of Ottawa; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lois Dinges of Mendota. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Donald; and three grandchildren, Joshua and Andrew Milby and Corbin Glass. Pallbearers will be Jason and Joe Kennedy, Eric Markey, Jerry Muncy and Jason and Eric Halm.
