Florence Dunn

Florence M. Dunn, 88, of Seneca, Illinois, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Morris Hospital.

A Memorial Mass will be at 11:00 Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at St. Patrick's Church in Seneca. Her visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00, one hour prior to services, Wednesday at St. Patrick's Church in Seneca. She will be buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Seneca following services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home in Seneca.

Florence was born July 5, 1929, in Streator, Illinois to C. Warren and Mabel (Baker) Johnson. She married Elwin Dunn on April 11, 1953 in Kinsman, Illinois; he passed away November 21, 1993.She was a graduate of Seneca High School class of 1947. She was employed at John Berry and Andy O’Conner law office in Streator and Seneca High School from 1957 to 1965 and again in 1977 to 2005. Florence lived in Streator 1950 to 1953, Kinsman from 1953 to 1963 and moved to the farm in 1963.

Florence is survived her son, Patrick of Ottawa; two grandchildren, Timothy Dunn and Melissa Cavanaugh, and her sister, Luella Rooney of Seneca.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Lloyd and Howard; and two grandchildren, Allison and Devin Dunn
