Florence J. Defrank

Florence J. DeFrank, 82, of Ottawa, IL, died, Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Ottawa Regional Hospital and Healthcare Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be10:00 am Saturday, February 20, 2010 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, with Msgr. Jerome Ham officiating. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 - 7 pm with the Rosary at 4:00 pm Friday, February 19 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Florence was born, July 3, 1927, in Ottawa, IL, to Nicholas and Catherine (Visocky) Srsnick. She married Frank DeFrank July 23, 1949 at St. Mary Church in Naplate. She Volunteered at St. Mary's Church, where she was the bookkeeper, secretary, and CCD Coordinator. She was also a member of St. Francis of Asssis Church and a graduated from St. Xavier High School in 1946 which is now Marquette High School. She is survived by her husband Frank DeFrank; one daughter Carolyn DeFrank of Ottawa; one son Michael (Kristine) DeFrank of Indian Creek, IL; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Lauren De Frank; and one brother, Joseph (Josephine) Srsnick of Mokena, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Albert and Robert Srsnick; and one sister, Mary in infancy. Pallbearers will be Rudy D'Souza, Russell M. Costello Jr., Da Nguyen, Kevin Brown, Kiet and Kiev Dinh. Memorials may be directed to the family or Masses.
