Fannie Lou Newman, 86, of Seneca passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Morris Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 Thursday, June 22, 2017 at St. Patrick's Church in Seneca with Rev. Ray Guthrie officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 -7:00 Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at St. Patrick's Church in Seneca. She will be buried in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Ransom. Osborne-Nelson funeral home has been entrusted with her arrangements. Fannie was born September 27, 1930 in Ashburn, Missouri to Lloyd and Sophia (Roy)Summers. She married Joseph Newman September 1, 1951 at St. Patrick's Church. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Altar and Rosary Society, and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her loving husband; five children, Larry Newman, Gary Newman, JoAnn (Mark) Teele, Judy Spicer, and Patricia (John) Newberry; her grandchildren, Vernon Newman, Alicia (Johnny) Pierson, Michael (Kim) Newman, Eric (Andrea) Newman, Laura (Chad) Mueller, Matthew (Megan) Teele, Angela (Steve) Mann, Julianne Teele, Alison (Jason) Odgen, Alex (Kilene) Spicer, Jacob Newberry, and Jacquelyn Newberry; and 17 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Joan Newman; and her brother, Lloyd Summers. Memorials may be directed to St. Patrick's Church Building Fund and the Seneca Food Pantry.
