Eva Renaldi, 100, of Peru, Illinois, died Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at the Simple Comfort Retirement Home in Peru. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at St. Mary's Church in Naplate, with Rev. Jules Adator, officiating. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Ottawa Funeral Home. Eva was born February 22, 1913, in Joliet, Illinois, to Charles and Caroline (Ludtka) Lilley. She married Francis Renaldi on December 24, 1933 at St. Mary's Church in Naplate. He died October 14, 1962. She worked at LOF Glass Co. for 30 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Altar and Rosary Society, AARP, and Noah. She volunteered at St. Mary's Church, at local nursing homes and also for Meals on Wheels. She traveled extensively in the United States and abroad. She is survived by her caregiver/niece, Mary Ann (Mark) Small of LaSalle and several other nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Catherine Hipes and Anna Marie Reiner; and one brother, James Lilley. Pallbearers will be Mark and Kyle Small, Charles and Daniel Reiner, Brett Baker and Jared Sadnick. Memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Church in Naplate or for Masses.
