Eugene D. Patton

Eugene Dale Patton, 95, of Peru, IL, passed away at his home on August 15th, 2024.

Funeral services will be private. He will be entombed at Oakwood Memorial Park.

Eugene was born October 29th, 1928 in Streator, Illinois to Clarence and Alice (Mull) Patton . He married Florence Saleda on June 11th, 1948 at St. Columba Church Rectory. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. He worked at LOF as an electrician.

He is survived by; one daughter, Sally (Andrew) Marks of NC; one son, Stephen (Josh) of Peru; daughter in-law Mitsi of Morris; two grandchildren, Jennifer and Shane Patton; one brother; Franklin (Marianne) Patton; and four sisters, Betty (Bob)Maredith, Shirley Lawless, Alice Pollett, and Linda (Richard) Christoff.

Eugene was preceded in death by both his parents; two brothers, Harold (Margaret) Patton and Robert (Edith) Patton; one sister, Juanita (Dale) Henderson; son Gary Patton and his brother-in-law, James Serrault.
